Our Team

Principal Investigator/Professor @ IOZ CAS. Grew up in Zhejiang and received B. S. in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2009 and Ph.D. in Biomechanics and Medical Engineering from Peking University in 2014. Outside of the lab, Jianshi enjoys music, history, and taking care of kids.

Administrative Assistant. From Shandong. Mengxiao describes herself as a kind, sincere, cheerful, and responsible person. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing badminton, and listening to music.

Graduate Student. Born in Sichuan and graduated from China Agricultural University in 2019.In his free time, he prefers badminton, fishing, cooking, and hanging out with his girlfriend.

PhD Student. Born in Shanxi and received his master degree in Biomedical Engineering from Hunan University of Technology in 2020 . Outside of work, playing basketball is his first choice for relaxing.

Graduate Student. From Hunan Province. Shuhao is a serious, motivated, and easy-going person. She likes to read, listen to music, and take trips in her spare time.

PhD Student. Mu Zi received her Bachelor's degree from Jilin University and her master's degree from Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Apart from experimental research, she enjoys good food and spending time with friends.

Graduate Student. Born in Fujian and received her Bachelor's degree from Xiamen University. She loves animals and enjoys doing sports, going travelling, and spending time with friends in her free time. She received the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences scholarship.

Graduate Student. She was born in Tanzania and is currently pursuing a Master's degree. She received her Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2022. Then she was employed as a Research Fellow Trainee in mammal ecology at Sokoine University of Agriculture. In her spare time, she loves traveling and taking trips, cooking, listening to music, enjoying flowers, running, and spending time with friends. She obtained the CAS-ANSO Scholarship for the Master's Program.

Graduate Student. From Tanzania, received BSc. in Applied Zoology from University of Dar Es Salaam(UDSM) in 2022. Outside work, he likes playing football, watching animals' docummentary and movies. He obtained the CAS-ANSO Scholarship for the Master's Program.

Undergraduate Student. Born in Hunan Province. Jingyan is studying in China Agricultural University now. She is a person who is optimistic and witty. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, playing badminton, and table tennis.
